A police record dating back 17,000 years was found Tuesday at an archeological site near the Lascaux Cave in the Dordogne region of southwestern France. In the document it shows that the suspect, known only by his tag name CrewMag, was arrested and charged with graffiti, trespassing and defacing a rock. Though CrewMag plead guilty to the charges, the case led to an ancient discussion on what exactly qualifies as art and if graffiti falls into that definition.
