Harvard Researcher Accuses Pineal Gland of Hubris

In a recent interview published in Harvard Medical News, renowned neurobiologist Albert Winston accused the pineal gland of hubris. The gland, which is located in the center of the brain, is well-known for its ability to modulate sleep patterns but is also believed by some to hold the key to mystical powers.

Dr. Winston spoke with disdain, accusing the endocrine gland of “not knowing its place” and being “a bit too uppity.”

“Ever since Descartes published his nonsense about it being the seat of the soul, that damn gland has gotten a god complex. That’s nearly 400 years of tolerating incessant bragging. Now it’s claiming to give people divine power? Stick to melatonin,” he exclaimed.
